Resin Jewellery - How to make resin jewelry

The production of resin jewelry is a fun hobby that requires only a few fairly inexpensive tools and materials. It can be a bit 'of practice to get the technology into a science, but if you do, you will not enthusiastic about the production capacity of the jewel.

The simplest technique to make resin jewelry includes the resin used to embed an image in a bezel. Here is a step by step guide to this simple technique to make resin jewelry.

Step One: Make your deliveries. They areneed:

Resin (I like polyurethane resin)
Wax paper
Gloves
Goggles
Respirator
Opening
Medicine Cups
clean Popsicle sticks
Hot Air Gun
Pictures designed to fit your diaphragm
Mod Podge

Second step: Prepare and protect your work surface and you.

To protect your work surface, cover with greaseproof paper. To protect yourself, use latex gloves to keep resin out of hand, and keep an eye resinYour eyes. It is also recommended that a respirator for vapors when working with resin and used to work in a well ventilated area.

Step Three: Preparing images in embedding.

Cut your images into the desired shape. It will probably be your images to cover the bottom of the bezel, so be very careful to cut exactly the right size. Coat the paper to the front and rear with Mod Podge discoloration. Be sure to leave dry imagescomplete. I actually do this step several hours to work only with the resin, the images are completely dry.

Step Four: Put your picture in the lunettes.

Place your images in any bezel. Press firmly on bottom of the frame and make sure they are flat, which cover the floor completely to the bezel, and are not twisted.

Step Five: Mix resin and catalyst.

Klein graduated medicine cups (as they used to give medicine for children) are ideal for mixing the resin. Pour the resin and catalyst in a medicine cup, as indicated on the package. Stir slowly with a clean Popsicle stick for two minutes. Do not move quickly or you will create air bubbles.

Step Six: Pour the resin.

Slowly pour the resin into the surroundings. Curved, so that the media are at eye level, look for the best if the shell is enough.

Step Seven: Remove the air> Bolle.

There are many strategies for air bubbles in the resin, but the best strategy is to use a heat gun. Short hot air gun which is just above the resin, and you will see the bubbles rise and pop small.

Step Eight: Cover, and leave all the resin hardens.

Cover the circles with a completely clean box (the box will keep the dust sticks to your uncured resin) and allow to harden the resin. Follow the manufacturer's instructionsfor exposure times. Most of the resin is cured to the touch in 24 hours, but you need to be fully healed normally several days for the resin.

Do not be discouraged if you need a little 'practice with the production of resin jewelry. You may need to try a couple of games first to master the techniques. Once done, there will be endless possibilities in jewelry to make you able.
