Plush reindeer

As in plush toys and Halloween bat, plush reindeer are not strictly reserved for an appearance at Christmas, plush earn on any time of year, like other animals, stuffed reindeer.

Reindeer, which are sometimes called caribou, are members of the deer family (to which elk and deer). They find life in the arctic tundra are forests and mountains of Canada, Alaska, Scandinavia, Russia and northern China. Wild caribou have beendomesticated in Eurasia in the south of the Altai mountain region 5,000 years ago, after a few anthropological studies. Any ancestors domesticated reindeer population today that when you try to domesticate wild reindeer are now, it has failed. modern reindeer are used to pull sleds and some are saddled and ridden. Some are also used for the commercial sale of meat and skins.

Reindeer are about four feet high and six meters wide and two males (called bulls) and females (so-calledCows) have antlers, which is in contrast with most other species of deer. Like other species of deer, but they lose their antlers each year and then grow back. Adults can weigh up to 300 lbs. They have a very strong, broad hooves (which act as snowshoes), which makes them strong runner and gives them the possibility of long distances on ice and snow travel. They also have thick brown fur, which not only isolates them from the cold, but also helps to swim in water makes them good swimmers. You can live for over ten years in the wilderness.

Despite the different names in North America, both domestic reindeer and caribou are determined by the same way anywhere in the world. However, different varieties of deer in different parts of the world have been developed on the conditions and needs of the people, which includes the transport base. For example, a Chukchi breed domesticated, have a lot more than other species, and while it seemsare ideal for meat production, pull sled is not their strength. wild reindeer are known for their long migrations known, where further north in the summer months, so they eat grass, moss, lichen e. In the winter months in warmer climates in the south where you can exchange for protection.

stuffed animals reindeer must not be used in any way to pull the sledges, unless, of course, your imagination is reserved for it, as in other preferredstuffed animals, plush reindeer quite happy living a lie of Arts, enjoy cuddles and hugs and then again, good and maybe a secret or two if the mood strikes you to trust them.
